Club

The Aiguablava Yacht Club is a private non-profit organization. Its facilities are part of the public port domain managed by Ports de la Generalitat.

The administrative concession for the operation of the port was granted for the first time in 1969, and since then, the Club has remained in charge of its infrastructure, investing in environmental, productive, and sustainability improvements.

The Aiguablava Yacht Club was founded in 1967, born from a group of families’ passion for the sea, with the aim of promoting recreational and sports sailing in the coves of Fornells and Aiguablava.

Thanks to the efforts of those pioneers, the port was built in 1969—one of the smallest marinas on the coast—located in one of the most beautiful settings on the Costa Brava: the bay of Aiguablava.

The Aiguablava Yacht Club is firmly committed to preserving the surrounding landscape while promoting nautical sports.

The small-scale marina hosts 61 small boats. It is technologically equipped and meets all required standards, as evidenced by the certifications and awards it has received.

It is the only marina you will find between L’Estartit and Llafranc

The bay of Aiguablava and Fornells is a unique environment of crystal-clear waters where one can enjoy nature in all its splendor.

Thanks to the coastal path that winds along the shoreline, it is possible to explore the coast, its landscapes, its views, and the homes of the fishing villages of Fornells, Sa Tuna, Aiguablava, Aiguafreda, and Sa Riera—with stunning cliffs, as well as the coves and beaches that surround our marina.
